A long-standing tapas bar in La Barceloneta, Bar Jai-Ca has a sign formed by joining the names of the siblings who founded it. The house speciality is La Raspa, the backbone of an anchovy from Cantabria fried until brittle, and bombas and fried fish leave that small kitchen throughout the day. Several generations of the founding family serve behind the counter, and neighbours crowd in whenever Barça are playing.
