O Trevo

O Trevo is a tasca at the fringe of Chiado, built around a counter where everyone eats standing. Its trade is the bifana: pork sliced thin, marinated, then stewed slowly until it softens and heaped into a papo seco, a soft bread roll, with piri piri and mustard. Lunch here is quick and eaten on foot, and the counter fills with office staff and traders from the market.

People who live in Lisbon have a tip for O Trevo, and it is in the Locally app.
