Near Porta San Frediano, Fuor d’Acqua serves fish in what used to be a coach house, with its old Tuscan structure preserved. The catch arrives each day from the harbour at Viareggio, and the menu is rewritten around whatever the boats bring in, so it rarely stays the same. The large dining room fills with Florentines, many of whom have been loyal regulars for years.
