Trattoria da Rocco

Trattoria da Rocco works out of the Sant’Ambrogio market itself, feeding stallholders, people from the surrounding streets and anyone else who wanders in at lunchtime. What gets cooked is decided fresh each morning, typically ribollita, roast meats and homely vegetable sides, and there is no written menu to consult. The atmosphere is that of a working canteen, with generous Tuscan plates and little ceremony.
