Pecorino

Pecorino is a family trattoria in the middle of Testaccio, kept by a father together with his daughters. Each day the kitchen shops at the Testaccio market close by, and what it sends out are the hearty, full-flavoured classics of Roman cooking, served without fuss. Inside, eating here feels much like sitting down to a meal in someone’s home in Rome.

Come when artichokes are in season and order the carciofo alla giudia.
