Café Vollpension is run as a social enterprise in which retirees do the baking and the serving, and its traditional Austrian cakes and pastries carry the feel of a grandmother’s kitchen. The Topfenkuchen, a quark cheesecake, and the apricot Marillenkuchen come from family recipes rather than commercial ones.
