legal
terms of use.
about these terms.
These terms govern your use of let's, an app operated by LOCALLY TRAVEL S.R.L. (“we”, “us”), Via Ostriana 12, 00199 Roma (RM), Italy, P.IVA IT18198841001. By creating an account you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
who can use let's.
You must be 18 or older. By registering, you confirm you are an adult and accept these terms; we record the date and version you accepted. If we find out that an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.
what the app does.
Every morning at 8:00, an editorial team publishes an edition of events in Rome. You can take at most 3 spots in any 14 days. Confirming a spot gives you a place in a group chat for that event, open from 5 days before the event until 24 hours after it, visible only to people attending. Two people going to the same event can ask to connect; once connected, each can see which events the other has been to and is going to, and can invite the other to an event that has not started yet. After an event, the people who held a spot can answer a short questionnaire, which only they and the editorial team see.
meeting people.
let's puts you in touch with people you do not otherwise know. We do not verify the identity, background, or intentions of other users. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and use the same judgment you would with any new acquaintance. We are not responsible for the conduct of users, on or off the app.
You can invite people you know into your circle with a personal link. Each link works for one person and for 7 days, and you can have at most 5 open at a time. Only send it to people you know: whoever uses it and accepts joins your circle and sees which events you're going to and have been to, like any connection; you can remove them at any time. Invites carry no rewards or perks. You may not post, sell or spread links publicly, or use them to contact people you don't know.
zero tolerance for abuse.
We have zero tolerance for offensive content, harassment, spam, and any form of abuse toward other users. You can report a message by holding it down, and you can block another person at any time. Our editorial team reviews reports within 24 hours of receiving them and may hide messages, restrict, or suspend accounts as a result. Repeated or serious violations lead to permanent removal from the app.
your conduct.
You agree not to use let's to harass, threaten, or endanger others; to impersonate anyone; to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages; or to use the app for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
your profile.
To complete your profile you add a clear, accurate photo featuring your face and a short bio, from 30 to 90 characters. Every signed-in member can see them. The photo and the bio must be your own and must not be offensive. They follow the same zero-tolerance rules as messages: the editorial team can remove them, and can restrict or suspend the account.
the whatsapp community.
At sign-up you can give your phone number to receive an invitation to the let's community group on WhatsApp. It's optional, and the app works the same without it. The group is outside the app, and joining it is up to you; there, WhatsApp's (Meta) own terms and privacy policy apply, not ours. You can remove your number from Settings at any time.
content in chats.
Event group chats are for coordinating around that event. Messages are deleted 30 days after the chat closes; see the privacy policy for details. Reports, which include a copy of the reported message, are kept for 12 months after they are closed, for moderation purposes.
account and termination.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, in particular for abuse, harassment, or safety concerns raised by other users.
deleting your account.
From the app, the deletion is immediate: Profile → Settings → delete account. If you no longer have the app, ask from the deletion page. What is removed straight away, and what stays for a while, is set out in the privacy policy.
changes to the app and these terms.
let's is under active development and may change, including features described above. We may update these terms; the date they came into force is shown at the top of this page. When we change them, the app asks you to accept the new version before you can take spots, write in chats or connect again. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
disclaimers and liability.
let's is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep the app safe and running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee the conduct of other users or the accuracy of event listings. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to what is required by mandatory Italian law.
